NEON PULSE: Hidden Spectrum
Project type
Photography
Date
April 2023
You enter a world where color not only reflects light but seems to pulsate with it. The "NEON PULSE" project is a radical take on Pop Art, utilizing the properties of fluorescent paints to challenge your perception.
This is an exhibition of two realities. In the white light of the gallery, you see dynamic, saturated compositions that reference consumer culture and the hustle and bustle of the city. However, when the traditional lamps are dimmed and the space is filled with UV light, the paintings undergo a fascinating metamorphosis.
Key aspects of the project:
Dual-Faced Art: Thanks to fluorescent paints, certain elements of the painting become visible only in the dark. It's a metaphor for the modern world – beneath the colorful mask of everyday life, there's always a hidden, often bright and ambiguous undercurrent.
Hyper-Saturation: UV pigments offer a range of brightness unavailable with traditional paints. This allows for a "glowing from within" effect that perfectly captures the electrifying nature of pop culture.
Immersive Experience: "NEON PULSE" is not just about viewing paintings—it's about immersing yourself in a luminous aura. Fluorescent colors cast a glow on the viewer, making you, too, become part of the composition.
Dialogue with the Night City: The project references the club aesthetic, neon signs, and metropolitan nightlife—the natural habitat of modern Pop Art.
"In this project, pigment becomes energy. Don't look for peace here—look for the vibration that lingers behind your eyelids long after you leave the gallery."
We invite you to observe how light transforms the narrative. Stand before the painting and see what is revealed only when darkness seems to have fallen.
